Education: Dr. Appiah is a highly compassionate leader, academic, capacity development expert and educator of Ghanaian lineage. He obtained his B.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. Five years later, He obtained the DIC and PhD in Molecular Plant Pathology degrees from the Imperial College of Science, Medicine and Technology, London. In 2005, he went on to study for a Postgraduate Certificate of Education professional teaching qualification at The University of York, England. In 2022, Dr. Appiah, obtained a Masters in Business Administration degree focusing on organizational development and educational quality management from the University of Liverpool. He has over 30 peer-reviewed, international conferences and technical report publications.

Experience: He has over 32 years’ experience in senior leadership, management, strategic organisational and operational development, collaborative research and training in different countries.  He has worked in many reputable research institutions including the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana, Molecular & Cell Biology of the Institutes of Medical Sciences, University of Aberdeen and the UK government’s Central Science laboratory (now FERA) in York England. He founded and led for nearly a decade a not for profit educational and community development organization, Living Springs Ministries in the UK. He has trained thousands of people in the England and overseas. He has also over 10 years teaching experience in the UK and China.  He has global skills from multicultural experiences and overseas working in partnership with statutory, civic, business and charitable organisations to implement educational and training projects in Ghana, India, Uganda, and Kenya.
He is deeply passionate about initiatives that promote equality in societies, transform organisations, build teams and impact individuals in local communities. He is a strong believer in the use of dialogue, education and promoting collective wellbeing in all societal sectors, as the three-prong pillars for developing harmonious existence and sustainable growth of communities and nations.

My name is Reverend Japhet Kaberia Kabilu and I am a Kenyan by birth serving with the British Methodist Church as a minister in full connexion. I served in Kenya in different communities and social diversities including highly marginalized zones of North-eastern, Inter-religious settings of the Coastal regions and the metropolitan context of the capital Nairobi.

Education: I am a trained theologian and missionary, with a diploma and bachelor’s degree in theology (first class honours) from Kenya Methodist University. I also hold a Master in Applied Theological Studies from the University of Birmingham in United Kingdom, with more emphasis on contextual mission and creative leadership.

Specialization: Apart from ministerial and ecumenical services I am specialized in leadership training and development. I am skilled in working in plural contexts in various levels of social and economic and religious settings.

Interests: I am passionate in capacity building for social, mental, and religious and educational growth especially in marginalized communities. My dream is to promote peace initiatives that can lead to uplifting standards of living among the poor.

Vision for Africa: Looking at Africa from a far, I envision the empowering of my mother continent and ways she can be transformed to be self-sustaining and self-governing. I also think of creative ways Africa can be a competitive partner and an important contributor to meeting the global millennium goals.

Emmanuel Appiah completed his secondary education at Adisadel College before earning a first class Bachelors of Arts in Economics degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science in 2021. His academic prowse and diligence also led to him being honored with the Dean’s Award for Excellence. His passion lies in addressing multi-dimensional poverty through education, research, and ongoing learning initiatives. Emmanuel has previously served as a Data Analytics Instructor and has dedicated his time to teaching children in underserved communities across the capital city Accra, Dambai, Bole and Bamboi in the northern regions of Ghana.

Vision for Africa: Emmanuel envisions a multidimensional approach to tackling the poverty paradox in Africa. This involves prioritizing quality education and healthcare, enhancing institutional structures, and formulating robust macroeconomic policies. He believes that Africa’s development is not a distant dream but an achievable reality. He envisions the continent as a future industrial hub within the global economy powered by science and technology and well-trained young professionals.

Specialization: Emmanuel specializes in development economics, macroeconomics, data analysis, and capacity building.

Interests: Outside of his professional endeavors, Emmanuel finds joy in playing the bass guitar within a band setting and exploring new destinations through travel.

Dr. Gordon Hurd is a multifaceted individual who thrives in encouraging others to aim for and achieve their highest visions. He brings to the world years of practical experience drawn from his legal, linguistic, and business background. Through his YouTube channel Big Man Tyrone and various other media, Gordon has reached and positively impacted tens of thousands of men and women in over 124 countries as a social media strategist, video spokesperson, life coach and philanthropist. Gordon is a business mentor, and his book Christian Prosperity Secrets sums up his business ethos which he applies when he works with several businesses to help them start or grow. He currently runs online and offline programs relating to wealth creation and mindset change.
